2. Quarterly Workshops – venue & accommodation
Workshop Venue
River & Rowing Museum, Mill Meadows, Henley-on-Thames RG9 1BF.
All workshops will be held at Henley River and Rowing Museum. Set amongst trees and meadows on the banks of the River Thames in Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire, the River & Rowing Museum provides a beautiful location. IFLP will be taking place in The Thames Room, a stunning glass fronted room with river views and private terrace. The Museum is easily accessible by train, car and on foot.
By Car
If you are using a satnav, please note that the postcode above will take you to Henley Station. When approaching the turn to the station, please take the road marked ‘Meadow Lane’ and continue through Mill Meadows to the Museum, turning right into the visitor car park.
The Museum has a large car park, offering free car parking. Please turn right into the Museum car park on arrival at the Museum, and take a ticket from the barrier. Please present your car park ticket to the visitor services team at the front desk and they will provide you with the exit code for the car park.
By Train
There are hourly services from London (Paddington), Reading and Maidenhead via Twyford to Henley on Thames. The workshop venue is a short level walk – 5 minutes from Henley station.
By Bus
There are regular 328/329 bus services between Reading and High Wycombe, stopping at Henley on Thames. There is an hourly X39 service from Oxford.

In 30 acres of beautiful grounds in the Oxfordshire countryside, Henley Business School provides well-appointed accommodation by the River Thames. Each room has free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, desk, safe, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities. All have an ensuite shower with luxury Molton Brown toiletries and a Nespresso coffee machine.
As part of the workshop, private fine dining will be provided in the evening and breakfast in the morning at Henley Business School.
